I was away for about a month and a half. In that time this newsgroup
has shrunk and participation dwindled.

I don't see any recent posts from our Bulgarian friend. Has he
departed?

Lucho posted that he is not going to create any further builds of 4DOS.
Everything to date is available from Klaus Meinhard's 4DOS website
www.4dos.info, including source code for the latest build, so anybody
willing and able can continue upgrading 4DOS. It now has many features not
available from the last version from JP Software.

I was away for a holiday too. On return I experienced a very messy
breakdown of my computer, and for a time I had other things on my mind
than 4DOS.

Rex still has't answered if he is willing to adopt one of the
Sourceforge licenses for 4DOS (or his message went under with my
computer). One of these days I'll remind him again.

Perhaps we should start looking for a new developer for 4DOS in other
relevant newsgroups and fora. Any ideas?

Klaus Meinhard

Is this NG still available for discussing 4NT? It used to be. Just
wondering.

Technically it never was. Since the NG is unmoderated, there is nothing to
prevent you from posting (and others from answering). However, JPsoft does
maintain its official web-based NGs at http://jpsoft.com/forums/index.php,
and there are occasional posts regarding older versions. You may have better
luck getting questions answered there.

Yes, I subscribe to the official NG via email. I notice you are a very
helpful participant there and find your posts valuable. However, I
notice that a lot of answers pertaining to older-version questions
consist of "upgrade", which is not particularly helpful if a person
doesn't want to upgrade for whatever reason.

I guess I'll just post my question regarding 4nt here in a new thread.
